Privacy policy

ACERFI handles your data with the same care as its services: only what is necessary, for a clear purpose, for a set period. This policy applies to the apparts-auto.acerfi.net website and the forms it hosts.

1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

  • Contact or booking form — name, email address, phone, dates and type of service wanted, message.
  • Conversations — the messages you exchange with the website's assistant, on WhatsApp or by email, and the contact details you give in them.
  • Visit measurement — the page viewed, the date, the IP address, the browser, the type of device, the page you came from, and a random identifier kept by your browser to count visitors.

No data is bought. No bank details are entered on this website: payments are made by Mobile Money, bank transfer or cash, directly with our team.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering your request and preparing a booking — basis: your request and pre-contractual steps.
  • Delivering the service booked — basis: performance of the contract.
  • Meeting our accounting and tax obligations — basis: legal obligation.
  • Measuring visits to the website in order to improve it — basis: legitimate interest.

4. What we don't do

  • No third-party audience measurement tool is installed — no Google Analytics or equivalent: visits are measured by our own servers.
  • No advertising pixels, no advertising or profiling cookies.
  • Your data is never sold, rented or exchanged.

5. Recipients

Your data is processed by the ACERFI teams authorised to see it: reception and bookings, operations, accounting. It passes through the technical providers acting on our behalf: the MAYA platform, which hosts the website and manages our exchanges; Hostinger, which rents the server; our business email service; WhatsApp (Meta) when you write to us on that channel; and OpenAI, which receives the text of messages sent to the website's assistant in order to draft the reply. Some of these providers are based outside Cameroon.

6. Retention periods

  • Contact requests: three (3) years from the last exchange.
  • Booking files and accounting records: the applicable legal retention period.

7. Security

Exchanges with the website are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to data is restricted to authorised people and protected by authentication. No system offers an absolute guarantee: if an incident may affect your data, we will inform you as soon as possible.

8. Your rights

Under Cameroonian law No. 2010/012 and, for people residing in the European Union, Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent. Write to [email protected]: we answer within one month at most.

9. Cookies and technical storage

This website places no audience measurement, advertising or profiling cookies.

  • NEXT_LOCALE — remembers your language (French or English).
  • maya_visitor_id and maya_session_id — random identifiers kept by your browser to count visits. They contain neither your name nor your contact details and are sent only to our servers.
  • maya-auth and maya-refresh-token — for team members who sign in to the administration only.

You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.

10. Changes

This policy may be adjusted to reflect legal or technical changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
